CM Server Control Privileges  

Use the CM Server Control tab page to assign privileges for Server control. When the corresponding privilege is enabled, the user is allowed to:

 

CM Server Installation

ModifyConfig

modify the Server Configuration

 

Control Panels

CreatePAN 

create new panels and save existing panels under new names

DeletePAN

delete or overwrite panels

ModifyPAN

modify panels

CopyPAN

copy panels

MovePAN

move panels

EditScriptButton

edit the commands for the script button

 

Program Files

CreatePGM

create new program files and save existing ones under new names

 

  Tip:

The MonitorTimeBase privilege is required to use the Program Wizard. This is because the wizard connects to the Timebase to acquire information about the connected devices.

Users who do not have the MonitorTimeBase privilege must use the editor, instead of the Program Wizard.

delete or overwrite program files

Audit Trails

connect to timebases/servers and monitor them

acquire data manually

ManualInjection

enable / disable manual injection

 Note: 

The privilege ManualInjection has to be checked first before you can start manual injection. If your driver does not support manual injection, disable the ManualInjection privilege.

In case you use an existing privilege group (Chromeleon version < 6.80 SR14) note the following:

  • If the privilege AcquireData is enabled, the new privilege ManualInjection (Chromeleon version ≥ 6.80 SR14) will automatically be enabled, too.

  • If the privilege AcquireData is disabled, the new privilege ManualInjection (Chromeleon version ≥ 6.80 SR14) will automatically be disabled, too.

ControlForeignBatch

cancel sequences from other users and delete them from the batch

ControlDuringBatch

execute control commands or change parameters while a batch is running

 

Predictive Performance

change warning limits for device/module counters

change warning limits for qualification intervals

 ignore warning limit for qualification to continue operation of the device/module when qualification is due

approve qualification
